The film’s success underscores the enduring appeal of cinematic titans and marks a significant milestone for the series.
Released on March 29, 2024, the film debuted with an impressive $80 million in North American theaters, surpassing initial projections of $50–55 million. Internationally, it garnered an additional $114 million, bringing its global opening weekend total to $194 million—the largest of the year at that point.
