Body found in trash bag in New York apartment

queens – A man’s body was discovered Tuesday inside two trash bags under a bed in a Queens apartment, New York City police said.
What we know:
Police received a call around 5 p.m. requesting a welfare check on an apartment at 137-17 70th Street.
The medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
There, the body of a 55-year-old man was discovered under the bed. Police said his body was found inside two trash bags, one on his head and one on his feet.
