Mexico’s Aeromexico has been named the world’s most on-time airline in 2024.
Cirium, an aviation analytics company, decided to time it. flight tracking For 16 years, the annual On-time performance review Information on airlines and airports around the world.
Its latest report, released on January 2nd, reveals which airlines and airports are the most punctual.
The data is as follows.
Most scheduled flights
An on-time flight is defined as a flight that arrives within 15 minutes of the scheduled gate arrival time.
Globally, Aeromexico topped the list with 86.7% of flights arriving on time.
Saudia Airlines secured the second position with 86.35% while Delta Air Lines secured the third position with 83.46%. In North America, Delta Air Lines took the number one spot.

Last year, all airlines faced several challenges outside of their control, including weather patterns and a lack of air traffic controllers.

Most scheduled airports
Airports measure punctuality as flights departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.
Globally, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia took top honors as the most punctual airport with 86.65% of flights departing on time.
The highest-scoring large U.S. airport was Honolulu International Airport, with 85.45% of flights departing on time.
In the United States, Salt Lake City International Airport, New York LaGuardia Airport, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Philadelphia Delphia International Airport and Seattle-Tacome International Airport also made it into the top 20.
