by NY Review Contributor

Thousands of fans and cosplayers filled the H‑E‑B Center for the Greater Austin Comic Con, which returned with a packed lineup and a nostalgic highlight: the 35th anniversary reunion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) film cast. Stars like Kenn Scott, Brian Tochi, Robbie Rist, and others headlined autograph signings and panel discussions that drew multigenerational crowds eager to revisit their favorite sewer-dwelling heroes.

Beyond the TMNT tribute, the two-day celebration offered a full spectrum of pop culture experiences. Cosplay competitions took center stage, showcasing everything from anime icons to classic superheroes. Retro gaming fans gathered in the arcade lounge, while younger visitors engaged with Pokémon trading areas and immersive exhibits. Wrestling and MMA stars, including Sgt. Slaughter and Rampage Jackson, added sports energy to the festivities, drawing fans for selfies and stories from the ring.
