The annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Spring Fundraiser broke records, raising over $5 million for health and social services. The event, held at the New Amsterdam Theatre, featured performances by Broadway stars and special appearances from Hollywood celebrities.
“This night is about community and giving back,” said actor Jonathan Groff, one of the evening’s hosts. Proceeds will benefit programs for those living with HIV/AIDS and other critical needs.
