NEW YORK – A dramatic incident unfolded early Thursday morning on the Upper West Side when a man attempted to evade arrest by fleeing from police.

At approximately 6 a.m., law enforcement officers executing a warrant operation at 60 Amsterdam Avenue encountered the suspect. In a bid to escape, the man climbed out of a window nearly ten stories high.
