Transit Options

To accommodate the expected influx of attendees, the MTA plans to enhance service across multiple transportation options, including the LIRR, Metro-North, and NYC Subway.

Recommended Subway Routes:

• The Lexington Avenue Line (4, 5, 6) offers the most convenient access to the parade.
• Short walking distance from 5 Av/53 St (E, M) station to the parade route.
• Note that some stairs at 77 St (6) station will be restricted to enter-only or exit-only.

LIRR & Metro-North Adjustments:

• Extra trains will run before and after the parade to accommodate crowds.
• The Grand Central Madison terminal provides easy access to the festivities.
• There will be an alcohol ban on the LIRR from midnight Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, and an all-day ban on Metro-North Saturday.

Bus Reroutes:

Be aware that several bus lines will undergo reroutes, including:

M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M31, M50, M55, M57, M66, M72, M79 SBS, Q32, and various express buses.
