Acclaimed actor Haley Joel Osment, widely recognized for his roles in films such as “Forrest Gump” and “The Sixth Sense,” has been charged with public intoxication and possession of cocaine. The incident occurred earlier this month at the Mammoth Mountain ski resort.
Details of the Arrest
Osment’s arrest took place on April 8, and the charges were subsequently announced by the Mono County District Attorney’s Office. He faces two misdemeanor charges: disorderly conduct and possession of cocaine.
As of now, Osment’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment from the media regarding the incident.
A History of Legal Troubles
This is not the first time Osment has encountered legal issues. In 2006, he was involved in a DUI case along with marijuana possession after a vehicle accident in Los Angeles. Furthermore, earlier this year, in January, the actor reported losing his home to the Eaton Fire.
Upcoming Court Date
Following his arrest, Osment is scheduled for an arraignment in Mono County on July 7.
