A major burglary ring operating in the Hollywood area has been dismantled by law enforcement, resulting in the arrest of four individuals. The suspects, all in their early 20s, were allegedly involved in a series of high-profile burglaries targeting celebrity homes and luxury apartments across the city.
The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division led the investigation, which included surveillance and undercover operations. “This group targeted high-end properties, but their crimes were anything but sophisticated,” said LAPD Captain Eva Morales. “Thanks to the hard work of our officers, these individuals are no longer a threat to our community.”
The burglars were reportedly using social media to track their victims’ whereabouts and break into homes while the residents were away. Authorities believe the ring was responsible for at least 15 robberies in the past two months, stealing millions of dollars in cash and valuables.
