Leslie Charleson, best known for her role on “General Hospital,” has died. She was 79 years old.

Executive producer Frank Valentini admitted on the show: “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague Leslie Charleson.” Official Instagram account.
“Her enduring legacy spans nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone, and just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaine family, Leslie was the beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew. I will miss her chatter, her wit, and her great presence on set. ”
