MTA Introduces AI-Powered Maintenance System to Enhance Subway Reliability
The MTA announced today the launch of an AI-powered maintenance system designed to improve subway reliability and reduce delays. The cutting-edge technology will utilize real-time data to predict equipment failures and optimize repair schedules.
“This is a game-changer for our transit system,” said MTA Chair Janno Lieber. “We’re using innovation to deliver better service for New Yorkers.”
The program will begin with a pilot phase on the 7 and F lines. Commuters have expressed optimism, hoping the system will address the subway’s chronic issues.
