Subway Stabbing in Lower Manhattan: NYPD Seeks Suspect
NEW YORK CITY – A tragic incident unfolded in the New York City subway system as police investigate a fatal stabbing that occurred during the morning rush hour.

The stabbing took place around 8:30 a.m. on Friday at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall/Chambers Street station, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD).
Authorities report that a dispute led to a 38-year-old man being attacked on the southbound platform of the 4, 5, and 6 trains.
Victim and Medical Response
Law enforcement arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was promptly taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was later pronounced dead.

The NYPD has launched a manhunt for the suspect, described as a male in his 40s, dressed entirely in black with distinct white markings on his face and hands.
