New York City, June 22, 2024 – The New York Public Library system announced extended weekend hours for the summer, providing greater access to resources for students, families, and job seekers. The initiative is part of a city-funded effort to support education and digital literacy.
“This is about making libraries a cornerstone of community life,” said NYPL President Anthony Marx. The extended hours will run through Labor Day.
