Organizers of New York City Pride announced plans today for the largest Pride parade in history, set to take place next month. The event will mark the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and is expected to draw over 5 million participants and spectators.

“This year’s Pride is about celebrating progress while acknowledging the challenges ahead,” said event director Emma Blake. The parade will feature over 400 floats, performances by major artists, and a tribute to LGBTQ+ pioneers.

Hotels and businesses are gearing up for a tourism boom, with Pride-related events expected to generate millions for the local economy.
