Viveka Jae Ok Hansson’s artistic journey intertwines personal transformation and creative expression. At the heart of her mission is a devotion to female communities, uniting souls and spreading kindness, joy, and love wherever she goes.
In a world often defined by trophies, titles, and appearances, Hansson has found a path that diverges from these norms, embracing a more profound approach to life and creativity. Her artistic outlet is driven by intense emotional events and a deep connection from the energies rooted within her soul. Growing up, Hansson intuitively knew that she was different but couldn’t fully grasp the path she, decades later, would embark.
Hansson’s story began in the quiet moments of adolescence, when the turbulence of becoming a teenager merged into whispers into her being, body and senses. Unable to articulate her emotional roller coaster at the time, she found solace in photography, writing, and painting. These creative outlets became both a sanctuary and a form of expression for her to scrutinize these intense emotions.
Her childhood dream was to become a published writer, but a broken heart in her early adulthood steered her into another direction. This journey, which would shatter many, came to break her heart as well; into thousands of imperfected masterpieces all over the world. “Painship,” as she calls it, became a central theme in her life. This term reflects the emotional hurdles she carried in her own experiences as well as all the thousands of stories confided in her. Stories that, later on, would fuel her writing and art. “I have a deep need to write,” Hansson reflects. “It is in my core and bones, and it has always been my way of processing the world’s noise and my role in it.” During that time, she discovered The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma, a book that would change her life, her view on herself and her role in the world. It laid the foundation for her current approach to life—one filled with awe, magic, and wonder.
Her passion for photography began at age ten, a gift from her parents that marked the start of a lifelong love affair capturing beautiful moments. At the same time, she took on a most unlikely task, namely to learn phonetics not for the sake of it but for the soul of it. While her creative pursuits have evolved, the core of her artistry remains rooted in emotional exploration and search for truthicity, identity and soul searching. Hansson symbolizes a lightship; lighting up the universe within herself and others. She offers a counterpoint to the world’s noise, focusing on authentic human connections and converging universes with other blessed souls. Her personal journey is about belonging, not just as an individual, but within the communities she helps create and nurture. The collective healing and force is out of any logical or rational depth are a re-current approach.
Hansson believes that “giving back to the society” that helped shape her is integral to her mission. The communities she has co-created—such as She Told Me A Story, The House, and Pirates of Impact—serve as platforms where creatives come together to support one another. These spaces emphasize soulful work, business, and sisterhood, which Hansson defines as “SisterShip,” a testament to collective healing and the shared burdens of life events, failures and betrayal. Through her words, art, and personal philosophies, Hansson offers a unique perspective on healing fueled with creativity, and human connection as a first-line to the realms of one’s QUEENDOME. She operates outside the norms of social status, cultural and societal expectations and channels these perspectives into her creative work. They create energies, synergies and synchronisations that ripples all the way to infinity.
Throughout her career, Hansson got involved with female spheres, including Emma Philipson and Victoria Sandberg. These SisterShips have not only nurtured her creativity but also fostered emotional and personal growth. Sandberg, in particular, has been a guiding light, encouraging Hansson to embrace her creative self and encouraging her to show up authentically, regardless of her imperfections, fallacies and limitations. Furthermore, Sandberg brought an event by Pirates of IMPACT to Malmö, Sweden, inviting Hansson as a guest of honor to experience the magic of the startup world. An industry she had never set her foot in prior to her first encounter with Sandberg.
Hansson’s creative approach is as multifaceted as her journey itself. Her work spans from visual art to photography, all unified by a profound understanding of emotion and its fluctuations. Her process is a constant dance between movement and flow—capturing the moments when emotion moves deeply and flows freely.
One of the most striking aspects of her work is her ability to transform raw, often painful emotions into something beautiful. “I find beauty in the ugliness,” Hansson explains. “I make ugly beyond beautiful.” Her wordy wordings, often raw and unfiltered, deeply resonate with readers no matter where they are in life. Her authenticity is a rare gift, as she allows her emotions and experiences to be fully seen, with the intention to heal herself and inspire others in the process of becoming everything she never meant to be; whole, healed and in harmony with nature and o surroundings.

A significant part of Hansson’s creative process involves embodying different personas that each serve a specific purpose for her to share with the world. ODD JADE, created in despair but finished in wonder, represents her commitment to authenticity and truthicity. To embark on unknown territory as opposed to giving into the expectations of society and following the crowd. That’s how her poem The Wulf Thing approached her. Word Smithée offers a neutral embrace to intense feelings, as opposed to categorizing as good or bad, right or wrong. She is encouraging readers to embrace these emotional hurdles as a first line to the inner transformation; the Butterfly Effect she refers to in her poem the Educationist. This is also when the concept of an ODD Dictionary came to her re-phrasing the dynamic of words.
The Word Whisperer, inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s philosophy of writing one true sentence, invites honing and honesty in every word that is left out. Gong Jae Ok, a poetic alter ego, was born from her history as an orphan, Pusan, South Korea and the re-birth of her creative awakening in 2020. An approach that came to her when reading Adam Grant’s book ‘Give and Take”.

Her work transcends more than art; it is a call to others to embrace one’s inner universe and uncover one’s deepest hidden treasures. As Hansson’s alter ego Gong Jae Ok emphasizes, poetry can only be made in emotional freedom, a belief rooted in the teachings of Mary Oliver. Gong’s first poetry capture was Oliver’s Wild Geese, a work that inspired Hansson’s approach to self-discovery through creative expression.
Hansson’s journey is rooted in transcending fear and anger, using them as fuel for embarking on one’s greatest journey. Her creative process reflects this belief: each endeavor is a step toward self-discovery and healing, both for herself and her audience.
Strangely enough, Hansson is not very known to the public and she has no desire to become one either. However, her commitment to personal and collective growth, in which she has become the soul whisper in various female communities in Malmö, Sweden is something no one saw coming, not to mention to herself. She was never really into poetry or poets for that matter. She has come to refer to this coincidence as a natural element in her Theorem of Hidden Treasures and Unused Social Welfare Benefits. Looking ahead, she plans to expand her creative boundaries further but doing so from the sound of silence, the laughter of her daughter and in the moments to and fro work. “The more mundane life I lead, the more creative my lifestyle becomes,” she muses. This paradox is at the heart of her work, which finds creativity in both the ordinary and extraordinary aspects of life.
In 2025, Hansson had several poetry books published through Books and Demand https://www.bod.se/ and she is planning to release several more in spring of 2026. Her upcoming projects include a collaboration with Culturale Lab in which she will showcase her art in a physical book. It is a world art collection book featuring 5 000 thousands artists presented and shared with the world in New York this coming fall, 2026.

Through her creative work and personal philosophy, Hansson’s impact continues to flourish. She pushes the boundaries of traditional creative spaces, encouraging others to engage with their own unique voices, imperfections and quirkiness. As a creator, she is committed to unveiling invisible shields that hold us back, providing space for others to breathe and find meaning in a most disruptive world.
